Online Speaking Lessons for Children
Goal of the Online Speaking Lessons
The goal of these lessons is to give children and teenagers who can speak English the chance to improve their English speaking over the telephone. We have a lot of experience with online lessons and we don't use Skype, Whatsapp, Viber or any other software for online lessons. The telephone is simple and effective and works very well.
How Long Are Online Speaking Lessons?
The first online lesson is always shorter. We schedule a ten-minute lesson to check whether your child can speak over the telephone. If your child can speak with us for ten minutes then we can decide whether to have longer lessons. For most children, we recommend 15 or 20 minute lessons.
How Many Lessons Can My Child Have?
Although, it is possible to have a lesson every day, we recommend once, twice or three times a week. In the current situation, children have a lot of school homework and so they may not have much time for online conversations. However, if a child does not have a problem with speaking online and enjoys the conversation, then online lessons can be a useful tool for breaking up the monotony of studying all day.
What Do We Talk About with Children?
We ask children a lot of questions and give the children time to answer. We make notes about the answers so that we can find out what your child likes to talk about and interests that they have. This makes it easier to keep your child interested in future lessons.
What Technology Do We Need?
Your child should have access to a telephone. It is generally easier to have a telephone conversation and the quality is better than Skype, Whatsapp or Viber. Also, the internet is not always reliable and this can be annoying during an online lesson. A normal telephone works well.
Do You User Video During Online Lessons?
We do not use video during conversations. All of the online conversations are voice only. The children do not need to use any sophisticated software for online conversation lessons. We use software in the office to keep track of the lessons and the topics of conversations. Students only need a telephone.
Available Hours
We are available from the morning to the evening, in general, from 9 am to 9 pm. We are working from Monday to Saturday. You can book lessons online from our online reservation system.
